What it answers

Find independent exotic car rental companies by state or city, make they rent, specialization tag, review rating, verified ownership and published rental terms: minimum renter age, delivery, unlimited mileage and deposit.

Use this when someone asks which companies will rent to them ("I'm 23, who rents to me in Las Vegas with delivery?"), which companies rent a make somewhere, or who the best-rated companies in a city are.

Terms filters only keep companies that publish that term; companies left out for not publishing it are counted in excluded_terms_not_published (tell the user to ask them). sort=rank is the site's own order.

Unknown places, makes or tags return an empty result with did_you_mean.

Read-only: it never books, changes or stores anything (annotations readOnlyHint, idempotentHint).
Pages of at most 50 items (default 10); pass next_cursor as cursor for the next page.
The Markdown text is capped at 8 KB; the structured result keeps every item.
10 s per call; 600 messages per minute per IP address.
Results are cached for 5 minutes and carry as_of, the date of the catalog's last change.
Prices are the daily rates companies publish; a car without one has daily_price null ("Contact for price"), never an estimate.
