browse_makes

Browse makes and model families: makes and model families with counts and the lowest daily rate.

What it answers

List the car makes in the exotic rental catalog (nationwide, or in a state or city) with how many cars and companies offer each and the lowest published daily rate; with make, list that make's model families (Huracán, Urus, Aventador…).

Use this when someone asks which brands or models they can rent somewhere, or to check how the catalog spells a make or model before calling search_vehicles.

Unknown makes, states or cities return an empty list with did_you_mean.

Limits

  • Read-only: it never books, changes or stores anything (annotations readOnlyHint, idempotentHint).
  • The Markdown text is capped at 8 KB; the structured result keeps every item.
  • 10 s per call; 600 messages per minute per IP address.
  • Results are cached for 5 minutes and carry as_of, the date of the catalog's last change.
  • Prices are the daily rates companies publish; a car without one has daily_price null ("Contact for price"), never an estimate.
